SafePik Onboard

Verification work, done in the field.

If you run a PSARA-licensed agency, Onboard is the app your enrolment officer carries. It replaces the paper file: the guard's details, documents and photograph are captured on the phone, with the guard present, and the completed record comes back to you for review. It is an Android app, live on Google Play, and it is the only SafePik product that is live and being issued today.

WHO IT IS FOR
PSARA-licensed agencies
Onboard is issued to an agency directly, and the agency's own staff are added to it. There is no public sign-up and no consumer account. Installing the app from Google Play does not create one. Onboard is a separate product from the SafePik consumer service, and taking it commits your agency to nothing else.
WHAT YOUR OFFICER DOES
One complete file per guard
Identity and address, family and references, previous employers, the declaration about criminal proceedings, the signature, the supporting documents, and a photograph taken live on the device camera, because the app will not accept one from the gallery. What used to be a folder becomes one record.
WHERE IT WORKS
Anywhere in India
A guard's permanent and current address can be recorded anywhere in India, down to district, police station and PIN code. Your agency does not have to be in Delhi NCR, and neither do your guards.
PSARA RECORDS
The file you are required to keep
Your agency has to hold verification records for the guards it employs, and the rules differ from one state to the next. Onboard maintains that record, complete and dated, with the documents attached, so a renewal or an inspection does not start with a search through paper. The obligation stays yours. Onboard keeps the record; it does not make an agency compliant, and it is not approved or accepted by any authority.
WHERE THE DATA IS STORED
India, Delhi region
Guard records, documents and photographs are stored in Google Cloud's Delhi region, asia-south2, in India. Application logs are kept in the same region. The privacy policy sets out the full position, including the few things that sit outside it.

Who we are, and what we are not

SafePik Private Limited is a private company. It is not a government body, not a police service, and not affiliated with, appointed by, or endorsed by any police service or government agency.

Statutory police verification is carried out by the competent authorities. SafePik Onboard is the tool a licensed agency uses to compile, submit and track what those authorities require. It does not perform the verification itself, and it confers no authority of its own.
